4th of July Weekend

We had an awesome time going to the Zamora Park lake for the 4th of July. Tammy, Michael and John Michael went with us and we stayed in Gene and Rogers Camper. The kids had a blast and we did too. I hope that when they take the camper back up there we can go up there for a weekend or something when it gets warmer!!

Marina 13th Birthday at Habeneros

Well of course no birthday would be complete unless we go to Habeneros to eat. So after lunch we all met at Habeneros to eat for Marina's birthday. Imagine the look on the peoples face when I said, I need a table for 30. Marina opened up her presents and racked up again. Man I wishd everyone loved me like her. Haha

After we got finished, we rode up to the lake to scope out where we would be staying for the fourth of July. Meme, Popa, Michael, Tammy, Lee, Marina and Ryan rode up there. As you can see a storm came up and we had to get in the camper for a little while. It blew over and we went on home.

Marina's 13th Birthday - Friends

Marina turned 13 this year. Wow how the time has flown by. I can't even believe that she is 13. We had her a friend birthday party at Ms Tammy's house. We made her the cake that she wanted. It was alot of hard work but we pulled it off. She had a bunch of friends come by to celebrate.

John Michael gave Marina her Birthday kiss but he was too quick for the camera.

Then it was time to open presents. Marina really racked up the money. She was even nice enough to buy ice cream.

We finished up by playing some RockBand. Of course most everyone got along and took turns, but we did have one that copped and attitude when she was asked to share. Hum suppose to be 13. I wonder where Marina finds these folks.

All and all we had a great time. Marina had fun too.

Easter 2008

We went to to Hueytown Baptist Church easter egg hunt. Ryan had a great time. He found the silver egg in this age group. So did John Michael. They had alot of fun. On Easter we got up and found easter eggs the easter bunny left. Thank goodness daddy didn't get him. We dressed up in our Easter clothes and went to church.

Baseball 2008

This year was the first year Ryan played at Brooklane. He was on the Colorado State Rams. His coaches was Joe Frey, Lee Moody, Glenn Walls and Jayna Carlin. Ryan played second base and he also was a great hitter. He hit in every game. Sometimes more than once. The Rams went on to be the National Leage Champions for the first and second half. We are so proud of Ryan!!

Ryan's 6th Birthday

Ryan's birthday was on Tuesday July 24th. We had alot of fun. He gots some presents from mom, dad and Mena. Ms. Tammy, Michael and John Michael came by and we had Root Beer Floats which is Ryan's favorite. We had so much fun.

Then we had a big birthday party on Saturday. We even had a magic show! I made Ryan's Lightning McQueen dirt track cake. It was great. We had alot of friends over and had a great time. After the party Mr. Kent stayed and we cooked Cheesey Burgers which has become one of Ryan's favorite foods. Then Lee shaved Kents head and Ms. Tammy and Michael came back over to see the big event. We had a great time.

Marina 12th Birthday Parties

We had a great time at Marina's Dinner Birthday Party. We went to Johnny Carino's. Which is one of her favorite places to eat. All the usual suspects came to celebrate on her birthday. Mom, Dad, Ryan, Tammy, Michael, John Michael, MeMe, Popa, Grammy, Jill and Jeremiah. We all had a great time eating and celebrating Marin's birthday. She finished up by eating her Cannoli. John Michael even gave her a Birthday Kiss.

The next day we had her friend party. Tammy and I made cupcakes and decorated them. They were great. Marina had alot of her friends over to celebrate. We had such a great time. She got alot of great presents. She got an art set from Grammy and her other mom Tammy gaver her an IPOD Suffle. Which she uses quite often. I hope that she had a wonderful fashionista birthday. I can't believe she is 12.
